Help with Taxco jewelry mark

Postby Phate008 » Sun Oct 25, 2020 3:37 pm

I am have seen a lot of Taxco marks but never this one. Is that a generic silver mark sort of like the eagle/bell mark or is this a makers mark. It definitely looks like some kind of figural/pictorial mark. It is also signed with a plain 925 silver mark in another area Any ideas? Thanks for the help.Image

Parrot maybe? Could be the retailer/shop mark.

A "parrot head" mark was mentioned here and ascribed to Chato Castillo (alleged, not confirmed by me): viewtopic.php?f=11&t=15846&hilit=parrot
