help on mark

This is on a piece of silver plate - two Round Bowl Bouillon Soup Spoons. The mark is a W inside a Diamond <> - I found a mention of it in a book - but no maker name or anything.

Could be E.M. Weinberg & Company, New York City. They used a W in a diamond mark during the first quarter of the 20th century. They produced mostly silverplated items.

There was a F.G. Whitney & Company, Attleboro, Massachustts, who used a similar W in a diamond mark. However, their mark was used on jewelry.
