Believe it to be a pewter mark. 95% tin in the alloy.

Hi Jaume,

Not silver, but pewter.

That's the mark of the European Pewter Union. The mark has been in use since 1979.

Hi,

As the central number starts with a '1', this indicates Italian manufacture. (All UK numbers begin with a 3.)
