P&J Escofet - Silversmiths?

I am trying to find out any information, however small, on the makers 'P&J Escofet' of Birmingham. They were in existance in the early to mid 1900's I think.
ANY info regarding them, their products, their company etc would be highly appreciated.

I have seen glass and silver inkwells with that name. Have not been able to find any more info on them.
