l have posted this in the german section but l am not sure, l have looked through the German marks and cannot find them, could someone advise please, the marks are from two different pairs of tongs

Have a look at this thread too Nigel. When I bought them I thought they were solid silver, German c.1900: wrong on all counts!

Hello, the pattern is "Fransk lilje" (French lily), maker was (or still is ?) O. V. Mogensen. It was very popular and can be found with all kinds of makers / retailers marks. Best wishes, Bahner
