Dutch silver spoons with unknown mark

Hi,

I own a set of old spoons with different flower heads. The name of each flower is engraved on the spoon - in dutch. This one for example is the "Aster" spoon.

On the back of each spoon there are two hallmarks. One seems to be the sword hallmark for silver fineness 833/1000 that was used between 1906 and 1953 in the Netherlands .

But what is the other mark? It shows "PV*" in a rhomb. Can someone help please?

Hi, welcome to the forum. The mark appears to be maker's mark PV☆ in a lozenge for: P&A.H.C Velthuizen or Fa. (Firm) P. Velthuizen, registered in the Netherlands city of Arnhem 1927-1953 and continued by Velthuizen Juwelier (jeweller) 1953- present their maker's mark P.V ☆
