Identifying pattern and maker, help please!

Postby iamanonymousiam » Mon Apr 20, 2020 8:50 pm

I have this set that came in a nakens tarnish proof box my grandfather gave me last year. He claimed at the time it was just something my grandmother picked up at a yard sale (Which knowing my grandmother that could have been possible) I didn't even know that it was silver or anything about silver at all until I was cleaning out my garage last week and the box they are in popped open and one fell out leading to my investigation of the silverware. I talked to him after finding out that it was silver to try and get more information. Unfortunately he doesn't know exactly where it came from just that it has been in the basement for years and my grandmother passed away so I can't ask her. Im just trying to figure out where it came from, the age, the "story" if you would, so that I can eventually pass it down to my children with that story instead of, "here have a box of metal that means nothing to anyone that I know of"

Thank you for any help you can offer to my intense week of investigations and dead ends.
