Help with Swirly "D" Mark on Old Sterling Pitcher

Please help with identification. It's a swirly "D" on this old 4 1/2 pint pitcher. Thank you.

That looks like a mark used by the William B. Durgin Company. Founded in 1853. Taken over by the Gorham Company around 1905.
