For all those false antique looking pieces that keep surfacing having figural casting finials, I spotted an advertisement from the 1960's in National Geographic or Life concerning some kind of club which made similar pieces available. Sorry, I generally don't save ads after 1959...but if anyone wants to search those old stacks of paper piling up out there we might find an image of that ad??
