Silverplate Soup Spoon from Ermitage Elysees Restaurant

Postby hpidaves » Sat Feb 01, 2020 11:25 am

This soup spoon is from the Paris restaurant ERMITAGE ELYSEES. The spoon has two markings inside the top of the bowl:

60 GR
BB

The reverse handle top shows the restaurant name.

Any help on maker and/or pattern would be great! Thanks.

French plater's marks are generally squared...so you seem to have one stamp over another. Stars look to be present as remnants...stars are found in some marks like old A. Boulenger, but that's not conclusive as the shape is different. O.C. also had stars, so there may be others. Can you date the lifespan of the user?
