Egyptian fork, what assay office?

Postby mk209 » Thu Jan 16, 2020 3:47 pm

I recently bought this little silver fork I see that it’s 900 silver and dated 1922 but can anyone tell me the assay office? It’s a small fork of only 14cm long, not sure what it would have been used for? Anyway my first piece of Egyptian silver.

Hi,
It is Cairo, no doubt. Two small conjoined circles on the right, then long curved line to the left, two dots above it.

Probably a "youth fork" based on the general size? A fork made smaller for the hands of a child?
