Postby tracyb » Thu Nov 02, 2006 7:22 am

hi, i got some teaspoons from a charity shop and i noticed that they had some markings stamped on the back, can anyone tell me what they mean? the first one is a crown with WP inside it, the next one is like a shield with EP inside it, the next one is a circle with i think the fler de lis? inside, the next one is like a oval shape and i cant identify the symbol inside, and the last one is a diamond shape with the letter B inside
can anyone help me??? [/code]

That sounds like a silverplate mark used by William Page & Company, Birmingham, England.
