Silver teapot

Postby jok23 » Fri Aug 16, 2019 8:33 am

Here is a silver teapot, looks Scottish in design. Marks are a longboat with AG under the ship, with AS as the makers marks. Any ideas?

Is this another teapot where "Greece or Cyprus are possible provenance?" ::

Hi team,

I saw a post on Instagram recently attributing these marks to Corfu, while it was under British control.

If you google it, you will find a few more pieces attributed as such too.

Better late than never!
