I've been asked for help in identifying the maker, or maybe an approximate date of manufacture or region, of this Hovedvandsaeg/Luktevannshus/Riechdosen:













The mark appears to be 'CH', or maybe 'GH'.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Born appro 1728. Goldsmith in Hobro 1754-1767.
Get royal eneretsbevilling 22/5 1782.
Citienship 9/9 1782
3/4 1782 permission by county to give eneretsbevilling to his son Niels Peder Høvring as the goldsmith i Randers have nothing to remember ??
dead 1782 widow continues. Mentioned 1794.
