Norwegian Dinner Fork

Postby Every Cloud » Tue Jun 25, 2019 2:54 am

Hello,
Can anyone explain the marking on the attached photo of a norwegian dinner fork. I know it's 830 S, but what confuses me is the X symbol. What/who does that stand for?

I would be grateful for any help, thanks.

Though it looks vaguely familiar, don't know the maker's mark - but the pattern is 'Odel', introduced by Nils Hansen in 1935, also produced by Th. Marthinsen...
