Unknown MG 12 marks on silver spoon (maybe German)

Hello! Does anybody know something about this marks (MG 12)? They are from a spoon, possibly a German silver spoon from ww2. I'm really curios to find more about this item.

If it`s griffin, not lion rampant (I think there is wing on the right, not the tail) could be Prussian region e.g.Dirschau, Greiffenberg...
Loth system was abolished in Germany in 1886, so, it cannot be WW II.

Thread searches of key words & numbers can explain a great deal of oddities by reading the comments. In this specific case, your 12 lot mark is the same as 750/1000 minimum purity, aka .750 (or that 750 mark in the sample shown above). With this old system marking, you would then expect to have a maker's mark and a town mark at the least (additional marks would put you on alert to make further considerations). When dealing with such markings, always be aware of what are called Hanau Psuedo-marks (see World Marks section under German Hallmarks for a reading on this). Thanks for submitting your sample item. Thank you all for your answers! I am really glad to find people so interested in this and so willing to help. Now that I saw those pictures I am sure it's Romanian. It's the same design and has the same markings. And also it make sense because I am Romanian :)) I knew from my family that it's from a German soldier but it seems that it wasn't made in Germany... probably just taken from one family to another.

You live in Romania?
Could you look at the coats of arms of the Romanian towns.
Is there a town with a griffin?

Romania is still a white area of hallmark research.
I hope to change it.

Hello again,
Just another try; Lemberg in Galizien had lion rampant with rather distinctive tail tessel (almost resembling wing) and holding a star on the orb (or something like that).
Not well documented in XVIII century.
This mark is much older,though.
Still, the provenance and ``dolphins`` mark shown above are more consistent with Romania.

in this time Lemberg used the austrian hallmark system
and the alloy was 13Lot
