silver spoon no date letter

hi all
found this spoon has a number 2 not a date letter
by the shape of the hallmark i believe it’s 1974? have they just used a 2 because they couldn’t find the Z?

It's not a '2', it's a 'Q' - 1965

That's how we used to write an upper case Q "in the olden days".
