Please, help identify silver item. L AMEYER 12

Can anybody recognise the maker, country (if not Germany) and approximate date of manufacturing? Many thanks in advance!!!

Hi,
I think it is LA Meyer

There is silver with crescent and crown (Germany) and maker L A Meyer (around 1900),

Hello, most likely (a badly punched) Wilhelm Lameyer from Hannover, Germany. Founded in 1844, closed after the premises were destroyed during WW II (1943), not reopenend after the war. 12 would be a fineness of 12 Lot. I would date this to 1860, give or take a decade. Regards, Bahner
