Kolchug-Mizar tea-glass holder

Postby Larry Cavanagh » Sun Jul 01, 2018 12:06 pm

First time poster, so I am apologizing in advance for any site transgressions.
I am going through my father in law's possessions and have come across a pair of silver tea-glass holders.
I have done some Google research and believe that they were produced by the Kolchug-Mizar company.
I have not been able to figure out when they were made or what the pattern is called,  I am hoping that someone on here could help.
Thank you

Since I am obviously to stupid to be able to post an image on your site, I will leave the group and try other methods to find the information I am looking for

Hi,
Managed to open your images.Unfortunately, it`s not silver but an alloy of copper nickel and zinc.
МНЦ is the abbreviation of Russian words for those metals.
Tea glass holders were made in Soviet Union (Kiev )
