l take it you mean a lower case "t" however what sort of style is it ? and is there a duty head with it and which one ? (if not sure go to the home page on this site)
The reason is l have three SS makers from London, namely Samuel Smiley mark entered 1865 and l believe he was working until 1880 (although he was working for A B Savory & Sons so l do not know if he was still using his mark)The second is Stephen Smith & Son who entered his first mark alone in 1865 and another 6 until 1886 . The third is Samuel Smith & Son first mark entered 1893 and another 10 and this company went on until the 1930s.
This covers the two lower case "t" in 1874 & 1914,however l am only guessing that is from those dates, without a "duty head" or what article or style of the"t" it is l could go back as well, also what style is the "leopards head"? once again have a look at the Home page
