German Silver? Help with Hallmarks please

I have six forks of unknown origin. They are what I would call "Continental" size and look almost like grille forks. They are a silver material as they polish up nicely with silver polish, but do not look or feel like sterling. I do not think they are plated, however am not certain. Would appreciate any help someone can offer.
