unknown hallmark

I have 6 sterling spoons with a hallmark of a capital letter "B" followed by an impression of a locomotive, followed by the number "40". I've checked everywhere I know before posting. If anyone has info, please respond.
Thanks,
AB

I have only seen one locomotive trademak. It was on British silverplate. C. Jones, Liverpool.

Hello, is it possible that this is plate ? The description sounds just like the marks used on Bruckmann silverplated flatware. A picture of the pattern might help. Best wishes, Bahner
