I have a small nut dish with marks I believe to be Italian for the period between 1944 and 1970. The marks are: 800 in an oval and a "cartouche" with maker's mark 40 and province mark PD or PO. There is no "fascio" in the cartouche. I have been unable to find any list of makers marks or province marks for Italian marks of this period. I would like to identify the province, at least.
