I have this sterling silver musical jewellery box and i can`t find the meaning of the hallmarks. If someone can help please.

Welcome to the forum.
It`s Italian,Alliani, pictures and plaques embossed in relief. The lozenge mark on the right is registration number 13 MC and stands for Macerata.
Comparing to prints, 20 /25 means 25 boxes were made and yours is 20th.
Google for ALLIANI SILVER.
The movement is Swiss, Reuge. Modern piece.

Welcome to the Forum.

What you have is a resin base covered with a layer of silver. To identify such pieces, and so that they are not to be confused with solid silver items, as they do contain a full set of Italian marks, the Italian government require some extra marks to be struck. These extra marks are a 'R' within a square, this stands for 'Riempito' (filled), and also a set of figures that indicate the amount of silver deposited, in grams (1÷2 g, 2÷3 g, 3÷5g, etc.). These are not exact weights, but must fit into range stated by each mark. In your case there is between 20 and 25 grams of silver deposited on the outside of the product.

to be more correct that type of indication refers to silver sheet applied on other materials, not plating like electroplating or deposition.

that means that the object is not properly to be defined silver plate, in theory you can remove the silver sheet.
