Tea Set

Postby mortmans » Wed Sep 13, 2006 1:32 am

I have a Tea Set which belonged to my Grandparents. The Hallmark is so tiny it won't photograph but through a magnifying glass it appears to be:

Possibly an I in the first square - very worn
W in the second square
&co in the 3rd square
EP in a oval shape.

Can anyone identify this hallmark please?

Margaret

Sounds like a British silverplate mark. If you could draw the marks and then scan (or take a picture of) them it would help a lot. Your description matches a lot of marks.

Pat.
