Georgian Milk Jug

Hello all, my first posting! I haven't yet mastered the photo linkage yet but will try to upload pictures shortly. I have a Georgian milk jug, London, 1807, approx 4.25 inches high and weighing just under 6oz. Similar to the OP's goblet it has no maker's mark. The shape, decoration and form appear to be typical of the period and the engraving to the side is heavily rubbed. Would the lack of a maker's mark indicate something sinister or maybe that it was made by one silversmith and engraved, decorated or finished by another? I'd be very grateful for any opinions.
