I have a vingiarette that according to its hallmarks I can trace to Birmingham 1887. Whilst the Markers Mark is very similar to that of F.Webb Ltd which would match the period, the supposed 'W' looks much more of that of a 'M' and lacks the correct angles of the F.Webb mark. Is anyone aware of any makers using the mark F.M in Birmingham around this time?
