Yes, Belgian town mark for Gent 1790, the Crowned G and the silhouette of a medieval knight 's helmet. Small version of the year letter used: 1-1-1790-31-12-1790.
The maker's mark could be a crowned flower with two leaves (3 pointed), no match in my books (yet) Peter
This particular maker's mark does not occur in the reference book; Lexicon van de Gentse edelsmeden uit de 17de en 18de eeuw, issued in 2012 by the Provincial Government of East Flanders. On the candle sticks we see the small version of the year letter, someting you really do not expect to find on candlesticks, unless the candlesticks are of a very small size.
