A french chalice

Postby amena » Thu Mar 30, 2017 11:45 am

Does someone by chance can recognize the author of this chalice even if the mark is not complete?

Hi Zilver 2
Thank you so much for your help.
If I understand correctly the same mark was used from 1857 until 1976, so it is not possible to restrict the dating from the mark, is it?

Indeed, the same mark was used in Lyon during the mentionned period.
Other marks were used by family members, Joseph in Toulouse and Pierre-Henry in Paris.
