chalice/kiddush cup marked ASHER 800 plus unknown mark

can anyone shed some light on the maker ASHER and/or the mark after 800

[AG2012]

The cup was made in Israel 1950 – 1970.

Hebrew letter ``Mem`` is upside down; there is a number within it indicating registration number of the silversmith. It`s not well documented, but we have ``Asher`` to start with.
