A chalice

This beautiful chalice is attributed to the maison Mellerio dits Meller.

The picture of the mark is very blurred and almost indecipherable, so I can not find any evidence that the following mark actually belongs to this company.

Can anyone confirm this attribution?

The maker's mark belongs to Jules Wiset (Jules Wieze), active from 1844 until 1858 at 63 rue de la Tixanderie, Paris and later at rue Jean-Pain-Mollet, Paris.

The 'Dictionnaire des poinçons d'ouvrages d'or et d'argent Paris 1838-1875 mentions also Jules Wiese, la bijouterie artistique, 48 rue de l'Arbre-Sec, Paris with the same maker's mark. Mark entered 24 March 1858 and cancelled 1 September 1890.

So the mark has nothing to do with the company Mellerio and I wonder how that name is turned out.
I will try to find some more information about this silversmith on the Web.

Jules Rodolphe Léopold Wiese, born 18 May 1818 in Berlin, son of Jean Charles Godefroy Wiese & Jeanne Henriette Laak; married in Paris on 25 Jul 1844 to Julie Obertin; died 1 Aug 1890, at his home, 90 rue Richelieu, 2nd arrondissement, Paris. His business was continued for a time by his sons Jules Charles Wiese (b. 1 Feb 1846) & Louis Daniel Wiese (b. 29 Aug 1852).
