Maker's mark on some butter knives

Postby Granmaa » Tue Aug 22, 2006 12:55 pm

Here are some very poor quality butter knives from Birmingham 1942. The maker's mark is R.S.P.Co; does anyone know it? Also, I'm not familiar with this pattern.

I've seen a very similar makers mark on English silverplate made by Rylands. Not sure if it's the same company though.

Your maker is Raeno Silver Plate Co Ltd - mark first registered in February 1913.
