Monarch Silver Co

Postby beastiescf » Wed Aug 16, 2006 2:57 am

I have a teapot with stand that has been handed down over 3 generations which has a 'Monarch Silver Co', with a crown stamp on the base of the stand and the kettle. It also has the quadruple stamp and a 'high grade metal' stamp with a picture of a raised hand holding a mallot which is bent at the elbow. Can anyone tell me about the 'Monarch Silver Co' stamp as i can't seem to find any information on it.

Monarch Silver Company was a trademark used by the Knickerbocker Silver Company, Port Jervis, New York (1894-1962).
