Help with a Provincial (Amiens) Maker's Mark?

Postby WesternPA » Sat Sep 03, 2016 3:18 pm

Hi,

A customer of mine purchased a pair of spoons apparently from the Amiens region from me, and I wasn't able to find the maker in Helft or any other reference I have - hoping someone can help out! The maker's mark appears to be LD. These appear to be from the 1819-38 period. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I do not know of a reference which covers post-revolutionary Amiens or the Picardy region (nor, for that matter, the pre-revolutionary period). But thanks for the nice image of the marks; do you have an image of the spoons?
