Hello, I have managed to narrow down the ladles shape to similar Georgian era ladles online. However I am unable to identify the manufacturer or country from the stamped mark shown above. I've searched for over two days now and am no closer to finding any information. I'm assuming that from the large size of the ladle that it is for soup, gravy or punch.
On the back the hand engraved cursive text says: "C.F. Casperfohn 1846" OR "C.F. Casperfobn 1845". I'm assuming that it is an old owners name.
The stamped mark is either "Kehder" or "Hehder".
Many thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer.
Best wishes,
Lizzyd
