Pair of Oar Spoons - just makers mark

Postby Metal-7 » Sun May 08, 2016 5:53 pm

I found this pair of Oar Pattern (Fiddle without shoulders) tea spoons. The shape and monogram lead me to believe that are 1800's Scottish provincial but am not sure.... can anyone help me?

The spoons are 5 3/4" long approx 150 MM

I have looked on every website I can find and also in the provincial books but no joy. Help please - I think these are a treasure but just want to know more!

Trying again with the pics

See my previous post - The shape and monogram tells me that they are probably Scottish provincial "Oar" pattern around 1800, I have checked all on line resources for hallmarks and found nothing for WW with a shaped punch.

Any Ideas?

They're definitely not Scottish, and almost certainly American. I have seen the mark, and will try to track down where.
