Ladies compact 1940's.50's STERLING DOREL American???

Hi Everyone,
Ladies Compact 6 x 1.5. Cm @ 61 gm total weight with a STERLING DOREL stamp.
I think this is also American 1940s/50s (see my post on STERLING VED or VAD)

Hi Trev,

Sorry about that. I'm trying to send the pictures but the computer keeps rejecting my pictures. Both pictures are size 405.9 kb dimension 2048x1536
& Size 339.8kb Dimension 858x834 for the STERLING DOREL compacts.
A warning comes up saying

Your images may only be up to 1000 pixels wide

The pictures I sent for Sterling VAD (VED) are about the same size and went through okay!!!
Anyway...any suggestions??

Hi Trev,
Well I found out about my Vingage Dorel Sterling Compact it is actually a made by a jewelery company in the 40's/50's here in Canada. The information was on an eBay sellers site also mentioned the Canadian connection and that DOREL produced high quality Sterling/Gold jewellery. So it is very possible my ladies compact was made by this company.
Here are two examples. I also found another DOREL Compact. Sorry no pictures.

I found a green pin with DOREL (MADE IN CANADA) on the back, which is rhodium plated.


And DOREL STERLING on this Heart Brooch.
And

Anyway I wounder if you could move this to the Jewellery Section??? With the pictures in case someone is looking for info on DOREL jewellery.
