provincial snuff spoon. maker RG?

Postby jmaps23 » Sat Apr 02, 2016 12:25 pm

Recently come across this Hanoverian snuff spoon, The makers mark appears to be RG struck twice, one with a square out line and one in a wavy outline. There are others marks present but unfortunately too rubbed to identify. Would appreciate any help with finding the maker. Thanks James

Hi James,

Great sleuthing! From what I can see of your mark, it looks like you have found a match.

Is it possible to capture a sharp close-up of it?

Trev.

Hi Trev

Thanks for the response, I will try and capture some clearer photos over the next few days, the camera I have isn't quite capable of taking high detailed photos , but will borrow a better one in the next few days.

Thanks

James
