Tankard Marks

Postby moonshine » Thu Mar 31, 2016 9:51 pm

Hello All. I would certainly appreciate some help with these marks.
They seem to have been polished down over time, and I can't make them out. I'm not even sure what direction to look at them from.
I don't know if it's a tankard or creamer or what to call it. The lid flips completely upside down. It has wood spacers on handle.
It is fairly large at almost 5 inches high and 241 grams. Thank You.

Welcome to the forum. It looks like a Frank Smith trademark. Here's an example: http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver__Icon.html

Looks like Frank W. Smith to me too. With the flip-lid and insulators on the handle, would guess a small (perhaps half-pint) hot water jug...
