Swiss or American?

Postby carefreedentons » Sat Mar 26, 2016 7:49 pm

This small 5 1/2" spoon is strange the makers marks are on the top and the monogram on the bottom. Why? The three crowns appear to identify this as Swiss, but the BT which follows does not appear to follow what I find as the Swiss marking system. Any Comments would be appreciated.
I would include a photo, but can not find a way to do so.

Finally the right photo! Please disregard the other misapplied photos. This photo shows the three crowns on the left, which I believe is Swiss. The BT confused me as it does not appear to follow Swiss marking. Also, it is strange that the marking is on the top of the spoon stem.

Believe you are mistaking Swedish for Swiss. The spoon would have been placed on the table with what we would consider the front of the spoon facing down...
