Mystery Sterling Amber ring

Unusual amber ring
Hallmarks on outside of band.
I included some close up photos of the hallmarks.

I can't quite make it out.
First one looks like G 925 - and a square motif.
Second is G or 6 above a C (in a figure 8 mark, if read sideways).

Any ideas info much appreciated!
