Can't begin to know where or when these marks are from. I assume British but I really don't know. What do these marks mean? I assume L'pool is Liverpool? Thanks!

Hi Adam,

These are typical British silver platers' marks. The user of the mark is unknown to me, but searching period Liverpool trade directories only throws up one candidate, a listing for a Bennett Brothers in Kelly's Directory of the Watch & Clock Trades - 1880, under 'Silversmiths - Manufacturing'.



I'm offering this only as a possibility, but a least it may provide a route for further research.
