Rubbed Mark on Footed Shell Dish

Postby jacksonsvl19l » Wed Oct 28, 2015 3:19 pm

Hello. I'm having trouble reading this mark. Perhaps someone will recognize what is left there. i saw what looks like theexact same pattern on a Gorham shell dish, but it was not footed.
Thank You for any assistance.

Here's a link on this site to a couple Durgin marks, one of them looks likely: http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_D2.html You may already know this, but Durgin became part of Gorham.
