Hi Mingas,
I think you and Trev are both correct. Instead of the usual EPNS, your piece is marked BPNS. I have seen it a couple of times in the past, originally thinking the B was a badly struck E but now think it's intentional.
Best guess is that the B simply stands for British, meaning British Plated Nickel Silver.
