1835R Wallace spoons

Postby Nella » Sun Aug 30, 2015 11:41 am

The spoon reads “1835R Wallace extra sectional”.
My research suggests this pattern is Troy.
Can anyone please confirm this?
If this is correct, I have read that the patent date was 1902. Does anyone know when the pattern production ceased?
We have very few family treasures and are trying to make an educated guess as to which ancestor these may have belonged to originally.
Thank you.

Hi Nella,

Welcome to the Forum.

Yes, that does appear to be the Troy pattern.

To my knowledge it was still in production in 1983 at least.

In future posts please remember to keep your images to within the 7" (18cm) guidelines.

Trev.

Thanks, Trev.
Sorry about the size.
