Sterling Silver Tongs Hallmark Identification

Postby patack » Sat Aug 15, 2015 5:44 am

Hi,

Is this hallmark familiar to anyone? I've had no luck in my research.
Not sure of age, but I purchased from a New England Antique Dealer over 40 years ago.

Hallmark appears to be an eagle
Full marks: Sterling (hallmark) 1212
Don't know what the 1212 represents either.

Thank you.

Just as a matter of sharing information... the hallmark is H.H. CURTIS & CO - North Attleboro MA
active c. 1891-1915
