Help with markings

Postby Aussie111 » Sun Jul 12, 2015 6:05 am

Hi

From Sydney. I have been reading these forums and have been impressed with the knowledge of those involved.

I hope you dont mind helping me to understand what these marking mean on a ring my mother gave to my daughter.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

A

Sorry I wasn't able to post the picture here but find a link to the picture.

Hi A,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your ring is 18ct gold and assayed at Chester in 1905.

If you can capture a better image of the mark on the right, we should be able to identify who made it.

Trev.

P.S. 5-0 Whitewash? :))
