Where does this jug come from?

I am not sure where (in what part of this forum) to post this question, but anyway:
I inherited this art noveau jug a couple of years ago. It has no marks at all, except for some decorative ones. I guess it's silverplate; it "behaves" like silver on the outside. Could anyone help me with information about origin etc.?
