Armee au tous points

Postby Swineherd » Fri Jan 30, 2015 4:10 pm

This splendid arms crest is to be found on my large vintage teapot, hallmarked in Sheffield in 1923- so a youngster
in heraldic terms. It does display a spiky hedgehog with quite appropriate motto in french suggesting that the arms bearer is well guarded in every direction.Which family it did belong to?Image
