unknown makers mark

Postby klmac » Wed Aug 06, 2014 9:51 pm

I recently bought an old heart shaped, paste brooch/pendant, watch hook. It has marked on the inside, STERLING and what looks like a pyrimid/triangle with a dot on top of it. HELP! I don't even know where to start looking, as I am not sure of country of origin, or exact age. I did see something similar online that was listed as Edwardian. However, Because it had sold to a private buyer, I had no access to ask questions.I can send pictures if needed. Thanks in advance. -Kristen
